Conrad Whyte - Academy Director, U14 Boys

Coach Conrad Whyte has been coaching with AFC since Fall of 2010, and has been the Academy Director since Fall 2011. Conrad currently coaches the HS Girls and U14 Boys teams. He comes via St. Johns, Antigua where he played and coached in their premiere division. While there he played on Antigua and Barbuda Mens National teams at every level from U13 to the senior mens national team. He represented the senior Mens National team from 1990 to 2002 scoring 25 goals.  In the Premiere League, he won the Golden Boots Award four times, and was named Footballer of the Year in 1998. He also holds the all-time, single-season scoring record with 26 goals, a feat which he achieved on two separate occasions.He also is the all time leading premier division scorer with 158 premier division goals.  Whyte then played for John Brown University in Arkansas and earned Player of the Year honors in the Oklahoma/Arkansas section as a freshman.  He was also an NAIA All American Honorable Mention in 1994.  After he retired as a player, coach Conrad served as a head coach from 2002 to 2009 for three premiere division teams in his native Antigua and Barbuda. Whyte currently holds a USSF “B” license and a USSF National Youth coaching license. Conrad will be going for his USSF "A" license next year. In addition to his coaching and training duties at AFC, coach Conrad is also the Assistant men's Soccer Coach at Eastern Nazarene College. Also he runs personal training through his training program at www.carisambasoccer.com.

Charles Dybaud - U17 Boys and U14 Girls

Charles has been coaching with AFC for the past two years, and is the current U12 Girls and HS Boys head coach. Charles played HS soccer at Quincy High, where he earned two Patriot League all-star selections and an Eastern Mass all-star selection. He played club soccer for the Boston Bolts for two seasons. Following HS Charles played with Boston College for two seasons before playing for Eastern Nazarene for a season. Charles then went on to train with the Trois Riviere Attack in Quebec for two years, and now trains with the Montreal Impact. Charles currently holds his "F" license and will be going for his "E" license in the fall.

Julian Joseph - U16 Boys

Coach Julian is the current U16 Boys coach, and has been coaching for AFC since Fall 2011. Julian grew up in Antigua where he played soccer for the U15, U17, and U21 Antiguan youth national soccer teams.  Julian has also represented the Villa Lions in the Antiguan Premier Division.  Julian is a versatile player who played as a striker as well as a center back at the highest levels in his country and at the national youth levels. Coach Julian has worked as a coach in Kansas at Kem's Soccer Academy.  Coach Julian currently holds an "E" License and will be going for his "D" License in the summer.

Sarah Martin - U8 Program Director

Coach Sarah has been coaching with AFC since the Spring 2010 season. She began as the assistant coach for the U14 girls team and then was the head coach and director of the U8 Foundations Program. Currently, Sarah is completing her masters program and assisting as often as possible. Sarah began playing soccer at age four in her hometown, Barrington, RI, both recreationally and competitively. She continued to play through high school and on the intramural teams at the University of Maine. She currently plays in the Social Boston Sports league and the Eastern Massachusetts Women's League. Sarah holds a "F" License and will be going for her "E" License in the fall.

Edris Senyonjo - U19 Boys

Edris joined AFC in the Fall of 2012 and is the head coach for the U19 boys. Edris has also coached the AFC U12 girls, and has coached the QYS U15 boys over the past two years. Edris grew up playing soccer in Uganda and played through high school. In high school Edris led the league in scoring for 3 seasons, and won two league championships. Currently Edris is studying for his biology degree at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Jim Sheridan - Club President and U12 Girls Juventus

Jim has been coaching with AFC since 2008, and is the current U12 Girls Juventus Coach. Jim is also the current President of AFC, and has been on the board since 2008. Jim began coaching QYS recreational teams in 2006 before moving to coach the QYS travel teams in 2008, where he has coached u10, u12 and u14 girls teams. He became a QYS Board member in spring of 2008, and was the vice president of QYS Travel in June 2010 to June 2011. Most recently Jim has been the coach of the AFC u11 girls MAPLE team, a team he has coached for 3 years. Jim currently holds his "F" License and will be going for his "E" License in the Fall.

Robbie O'Brien - U12 Boys

Robbie has been coaching with AFC for the past two years, and spent the previous two years coaching for Quincy Youth Soccer. Robbie is the current U12 boys head coach for AFC. Robbie played division one amateur soccer in Dublin and Boston, and coached the Boston Bohemians adult soccer team for two years. Robbie continues to play the game in men’s leagues around the Boston area.

Tyler Martin - U10 Girls and U19 Boys

Tyler has been coaching since Fall 2010 for AFC, and is the current U10 girls head coach and assistant U19 boys coach. He has been an assistant coach for the AFC U15 boys and U8 Program. Tyler has played travel soccer since age 10 and played High School soccer in his hometown, Barrington, RI, as well as for club teams during college. Tyler currently holds a "F" License, and will be going for his "E" License in the fall. Tyler continues to enjoy the game and plays in a variety of adult leagues around Massachusetts.

Charlie Kilmain - U12 Girls Barcelona

Coach Kilmain joined AFC in Fall 2012, and is the current U12 Girls Barcelona head coach. He has played soccer in both his high school and in club soccer for Celtic Soccer Club. Coach Kilmain has been coaching in Braintree, for both youth and travel since 1997, and has coached kids of all ages from U8 to U16. He currently holds his “F” License, and will be going for his “E” License in the fall.

Dana Santilli - HS Girls and U12 Boys

Dana joined AFC in Spring 2012 and will coaching the U12 boys and the HS girls. Dana has been coaching youth soccer for the past 12 years for Quincy Youth Soccer with teams ranging from U8 recreation to U18 Travel teams.  He has also been coaching in Mass Youth Soccer’s District Select program for the past 4 years, and is the Girls soccer coach for Elizabeth Seton Academy, Dorchester MA. Dana has been a special guest coach for Quincy teams that have made it to MTOC (Massachusetts Tournament of Champions).  In addition to coaching Quincy teams at MTOC, he has been asked by a neighboring town Hanson, MA to coach their u16 girls team at the MTOC tournament.

Dana has been a member of Quincy Youth Soccer’s Board of Directors  for the past 8 years, where he has held positions such as Vice President of Recreation, President and Vice President of Travel. He is also a Board of Director for South Shore Soccer League and Massachusetts Youth Soccer. Dana currently holds a “F” license and will be pursuing his “E” license this fall. Dana is also a Grade 8 Certified Referee, and Grade 8 Certified Referee Assignor.  He will be pursuing the opportunity to becoming a referee Mentor this fall. Dana is also a certified coach for Topsoccer, a soccer outreach program for disabled children.
